FREE limited edition branded gift for every dancer.

Each year we design a covetable limited edition branded gift item that is sure to become a favorite in your dance bag. Every student from your studio receives one of these special items for FREE. It’s one of those little things that will delight the kids and their parents! Designs are hip, modern and unlike anything you’ve seen at a competition before.

Past gifts have included cool t-shirts, custom socks, and branded sport bottles.

 FREE PROGRAMS ($15 Value)

If there were only one thing on your parent’s wish list, it would be free programs. Whether your parents are looking for a terrific keepsake from the event or an easy way to stay on top of the lineup, they will be surprised by this fresh perk.

Our programs are high quality 8.5×11 printed on glossy paper with lovely surprises tucked inside. Makes a fab keepsake.

VIDEO JUDGE

Our high-tech adjudication system lets you hear the judges commentary while you watch the video recording. HD Video is recorded from the master recording booth and each judge has their own audio recording.

Digital delivery is included via the Video Judge website (mobile friendly too!). We promise, once you experience Video Judge, you’ll never want to do it any other way!

VIP STUDIO LOUNGE

Take a break, grab a drink or snack, and plug into our Power Bar to give your digital devices a boost. The VIP Lounge is a special space for Studio Owners & their Staff Members to relax and recharge away from the hustle and bustle of the day. You work hard to get your kids to competition, so we work hard to take care of you while you’re here! We always include little extras at each event. Past goodies included an edible cookie dough bar, a cupcake bar, and a gourmet chocolate bar.

PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ve teamed up with Dancebug to bring your dancer’s time on the stage to film.  Dancebug offers some of the most affordable season-wide packages so you get all the photos you want for one price, but they also offer À la carte options too.

PERKS FOR EARLY REGISTRATION

By placing an early RSVP ($100 toward your entries) or completing registration early, you get a 15% discount on your entry fees.

Because we run shorter 1 and 2-day events, RSVPs help us make sure the events are not oversold and work within the venues we’ve already booked.

And because we aim to release preliminary schedules 3-4 weeks before the event and final schedules 2 weeks out, early registrations help make that possible.

Lastly, our events have been selling out, so an RSVP is essential even if you’re not quite ready to complete a full registration!

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM

 Our professional social media team will be on-site to catalog the day’s events and help studios share the experience with their fans with ease via Instagram & Facebook.

We capture the spirit and activities of the day, along with highlights for award winners and share them with you (liberal application of the @you) and the world!

PROFESSIONAL SCHEDULING

You might want to sit down for this one. We send preliminary schedules for our events 3-4 weeks in advance. Final schedules are sent out 2-weeks in advance of the event, so you can get ahead of the question wave from your parents.

Have a number with complex costumes or props? Let us know and we’ll take care of it!

Typically, we group dancers on the schedule by age class, so the littles are done earlier in the day because grouchy and glitter just don’t go well together.

WELCOME KIT

Every studio is greeted with a welcome kit with customized goodies for you and your team. It’s our way of saying thanks for doing what you do, for being awesome, and because we believe in the power of putting more love (and maybe even a little chocolate) into the world.

We’re big supporters of other #girlboss businesses, so you’re sure to get treats that are really special. Past gifties included Face Masks from The Solution, Birdie hand sanitizers from OLIKA, luxe laundry soap from Magnolia Soap Company and Potato Chip chocolate bars from Chuao.

FAIR TREATMENT

We can’t believe that we have to say this out loud, but it’s important. No matter how large or small your list of entries are at a GEMS event, you’re treated as the equally fabulous queens that you are. If you’ve ever felt like you were less-than because your studio or entry list was small, we can promise you there is none of that nonsense here.

We have two comp levels at our events to serve different kinds of students. For those who spend less than 4 hours a week in studio, we offer the Double Diamond division. For those who spend 4+ hours, we offer the Triple Diamond division. We also use and enforce the bump rule. If a DD entry scores platinum at the TD point level, that entry will be moved to TD and ranked accordingly for overalls or special awards.

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT

As studio owners ourselves, we know how frustrating it can be to get help outside of “normal” business hours. While we’re not a 24/7 operation (sleep keeps us pretty!) we definitely keep on top of things after hours and will respond in a timely manner.

Use the channel of your choice – text, email, Facebook messenger or a good old fashioned phone call! You’ll get a live human to help and we’ll take good care of you.
