covid info

COVID updates and policies will be updated here as needed.

Please keep in mind that all is subjective to change.

SINGLE Studio Entry Competition

Studios and performers will be allowed into the venue based on a timeline, about 30-min prior to their scheduled performance time slot. A strict schedule will be followed by all registered studios, performers and families.

Each venue has their own occupancy guidelines; we anticipate being able to allow 1-2 guests/chaperones per dancer plus the dance studio staff into the venue. This is venue specific and we cannot guarantee we will be allowed to have an audience, as each state operates under its own guidelines.  Studio directors will be given advanced notification of the specific venue restrictions, and requirements regarding capacity limits.

FACE COVERINGS

All attendees WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a face mask/covering properly at all times while in the venue.  Only dancers will be permitted to remove the face covering while performing LIVE on stage. Once again this may change due to venue specific requirements. We will follow, and enforce, all venue guidelines for the safety of all involved, including our staff members.

PROPS

Venue Specific – Studio directors will be given advanced notification of the specific venue requirements regarding the use of props.

SCHEDULE

Dance Studio owners will provide the order for all performances. Please note there will only be ONE studio in the building and ONE studio performing LIVE on stage. Our events will now be LIVE STREAMED so everyone can enjoy watching the event from the comfort and safety of your own home. Parents and/or spectators are not allowed in the backstage area at any time.

AWARDS

After each studio performs on stage they will take home their Adjudicated Awards. All Overall and Specialty Awards will be presented virtually via LIVE STREAM on Tuesday following the competition at 6pm (Local time of the Event city). We will ship all of the High Point & Specialty Awards directly to the studio director.
